  Includes confirming compliance with regional plan rules, your resource consent(s), and irrigation scheme and market requirements.

  Guides checks of the main infrastructure; wells, water intakes, pumps, headworks and the mainline. It is split into “system-off” and “system-on” checks. Saftey first!

  Confirm correct condition and operation of the hose-reel, hose, gun or boom cart, sprinklers and the control unit.

  Before turning on, check the pivot point, drag hose, towers, risers, end guns and sprinklers. With it running recheck and look for leaks and wheel function, check pressures, sprinkler operation, etc.

  Check the water supply and filters, control unit, control valves, and off-takes. Clean flushing points and check pressures, laterals and sprinklers.

  Go over the system checking the water supply and metering, filtration, fertigation unit, control valves and control unit. With it running, check pressures, metering, telemetry, leaks, flushing points and that emitters or sprinklers are clean and working as expected.
